About me

I grew up in Huron, South Dakota working in the chain of men's clothing stores founded by my grandmother. In the 90s I migrated west, where I began creating original metal and wire art, studied timber framing techniques, and spent time cowboying for Heidi Redd at the Dugout Ranch in Southern Utah.
I've been living and working on Chappy since 2001 when I first started caretaking properties. In the years since, I've gotten more involved in island life, performing road maintenance, tree care and landscape management, and serving as a volunteer firefighter with the Edgartown Fire Department and board member with the Chapaquiddick Community Center.
It's an amazing place; we all take pride in the natural and cultural heritage of the island, and the sense of safety, community and respect that make it special.
